Strange vehicle reported
At 6:31 a.m., a 64-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman reported that a suspicious vehicle parked in front of garages at property on Eighth Avenue South. There is no parking allowed in front of the garages. It was also noted that there were syringe caps on the ground nearby as well. Extra patrol for the area was requested.
Working men ahead
At 12:55 p.m., a power company employee working near the intersections of Eighth Avenue North and High Street reported a man who lived nearby speeding down the road and yelling out the window at them, nearly striking a member of the power company crew.
License plate sticker stolen off car
At 4:44 p.m., a 40-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman notified police that while she was inside a store on Eighth Street South, someone cut the license plate sticker off her plates.
Confused woman leads to arrest
At 10:35 a.m., it was reported to police that there was a suspicious vehicle in a Wisconsin Rapids gas station parking lot. A woman was seen getting in and out of the car and looking under the car, she appeared confused. The car later left and went to another gas station down the block. The male went inside and the female stayed in the car again. When police arrived the man took off on foot and was caught and arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Child seen hanging out window
A 34-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman contacted police after seeing a small child which appeared to be hanging out a second story window. Upon investigation, the parents were home with the child and stated the child likes to open windows and yell out.
At 12:12 a.m., a 56-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man called police to report that for the second night in a row he has heard items being thrown at doors and windows of the apartment building where he resides. He did not see anyone at the time he called, but stated that the night before the person was in the dumpster.
Home broken into
At 8:03 p.m., a 20-year-old woman residing on Ninth Avenue North in Wisconsin Rapids reported that she had come home and her house had been broken into. She also stated that everything inside her home had been trashed.
