According to a press release by the Nekoosa Police Department, on Apr. 12, a search warrant was served by Nekoosa officers in lieu of suspected drug activity.
The service of the search warrant occurred at approximately 7:45 a.m. on the 600 block of Wilhorn Rd. in Nekoosa, following a several month investigation into illegal drug activity.
The search warrant resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man. The couple was arrested for possession of heroin, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a prescription drug without a prescription, and receiving stolen property for the possession of stolen firearms.
The names of the arrested are being withheld due to further pending investigation.
