Friday night there will be a special benefit basketball game for Lincoln High graduate Josh Uttermark.
Hosted by the The Sports and Entertainment Marketing class at Lincoln High School, the game will seek to raise money for Uttermark, who was diagnosed with leukemia. Uttermark is currently disease free, but will undergo chemotherapy over the next two months.
Before the game, starting at 5:00 p.m., there will be a free throw shootout, football toss, fast pitch baseball contest, putting contest, hockey shot, and carnival games — all held in the upper gym before tip-off. The first 250 spectators will receive a free ‘Sportainment’ lanyard.
The night will also see t-shirt contests, a Rocky Rococo pizza call, a raffle with autographed Packers memorabilia, a water ski clinic, and a special halftime show by the LHS Dance Team.
The event, held at the LHS Fieldhouse will cost only $4. The boys varsity basketball game will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. For more information, please contact Eric Siler at 715-424-6721.
