A Marshfield woman faces jail time after selling heroin while out on bail.
According to police reports, on Dec. 5 officers were called to a residence on the 800 block of South Oak Ave. in response to a possible heroin overdose. Police found multiple syringes, a spoon with brown residue, a cotton swab, and aluminum foil containing the presence of heroin.
After recovering a day later, police spoke to the person in question and revealed that they were sold $30 dollars worth of heroin from 30-year-old Aubrey Mason. On Dec. 7, Mason spoke to police and allegedly admitted to selling the heroin in a tin foil package.
Mason had been currently out on bail at the time from prior charges of methamphetamine possession and was not to commit any further crimes.
If convicted, she faces up to 19 years imprisonment and up to $35,000 in fines for selling heroin, as well as jumping bail. Future court dates are currently pending.
