Welfare Check: At 9:15 p.m. a call was made from the 300 block of 18th Ave. North regarding a complainant who wanted her child to be checked up on by authorities. She believed the father was on drugs. Officers checked the residence and everything was fine. The incident is closed.
Strangulation: At 2:14 a.m. a call was made from a residence on the 400 block of 8th St. South regarding a woman who had just been assaulted. An ambulance was called, as she claimed she was choked by her assailant. Officers responded and escorted the alleged culprit to jail. The incident is closed.
911 Hang Up: At 5:39 a.m. a call was made to 911 by a person who did nothing but breathe heavily on the line, even when repeatedly addressed. Officers found everything to be okay and a citation was issued. The incident is closed.
