Police & Sheriff Calls for March 16-19
March 16
Cat Nap: Early in the morning, a call was made from a restaurant on the 900 block of Eighth St. South concerning a man who ran into the establishment, and was now asleep in a booth.
Strange Sith: At 9:41 a.m. a report was made from a store on the 900 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding a man wearing all black, including a Star Wars shirt, standing outside and acting “strange”.
Professor Chaos: At 7:12 p.m. a complaint was made in a neighborhood on the 500 block of Griffith Ave. where all the names were taken off of mailboxes, and put back in the wrong places.

Armed and Dangerous?: At 4:33 p.m. a call was made to report a man and a woman driving down Eighth St., one of whom was allegedly brandishing a handgun.
Lucky Drunk: At 11:10 p.m. a complaint was made in regards to a man in a camouflaged outfit, who was very intoxicated in the area of E. Jackson St.
Middle of the Road: At 2:58 a.m. a report was made of two individuals in the road who had been yelling in the area of Chestnut St. and 16th St. South.

Dog Bite: At 6:12 p.m. dispatch was notified of a man bitten by a dog in the area of McKinley St., as he was on his way to get some ice cream.
Hoarders: At 7:36 p.m. a call was made from a retail store on E. Riverview Expressway to report two individuals collecting items in the fitting room. Staff found empty boxes put back on the shelf, in attempts to steal the items.

Speedy Buick: At 1:00 p.m. a call was made to report a Buick speeding down the expressway, towards Gaynor Ave.
Disturbance: At 4:31 p.m. a report was made concerning a man refusing to leave and causing a disturbance on thr 400 block of Eighth Ave. North.
Basement Fire: At 11:25 p.m. a fire call was made from a residence on 18th Ave. South. Everyone made it out of the house unharmed.
