Police & Sheriff Calls for Sept. 4-5
Sept. 4
Stranger Rooms: At 5:12 a.m. a call was made to dispatch regarding a call from a woman who claimed that there was an intoxicated woman in her bedroom on the 400 block of 9th Ave. South. It turns out that the caller was in the wrong house.
Street Artists: At 5:20 p.m. dispatch was notified of kids drawing inappropriate pictures on the road in the area of 13th Ave. South.
Road Rage: A call was made late into the evening concerning a caller who allegedly was almost run off the road on the 1100 block of E. Riverview Expressway.
Fight Club: At 10:52 p.m a call was made from the 2000 block of Sherri Ct. to report a fight that had broken out between two neighbors.
Sept. 5
No Hands: At 1:49 p.m. a call was made from the area of W. Grand Ave. over concerns of a driver in a blue Saturn, who allegedly had been texting and driving with no hands on the wheel.
Can Seeker: A late call was made to police regarding a seemingly intoxicated man leaning on the caller’s vehicle. It turns out the man was simply looking for cans.
Back to School: Late into the evening, police were notified of an intoxicated man allegedly stumbling around a school on Eighth St. South by the dumpsters.
