Police & Sheriff Calls for Sept. 6-7

Roof Dweller: At 11:35 a.m. a call was made from the corner of First St. and Love to report that a dog was on a roof of a vacant home.
That Smell: At 7:15 p.m. a complaint was made from the area of 12th Ave. North and McKinley St. over the alleged stench of the dog food processing plant nearby.
Lost Boys: At 8:17 p.m. police were notified of a group of kids behind a store on the 900 block of E. Riverview Expressway who had been hanging out by the loading docks, and chased after the caller’s car.

Afternoon Nap: At 3:07 p.m. a call was made from the area of N. Van Buren St. to report a man laying on the sidewalk. When asked if he needed help, the man swore at the caller.
Burglary: At 11:53 a.m. a report of a burglary was made from a residence on the 1100 block of Baker St.
Wanderlust: A call was made late into the night concerning a man wandering around in the area of Second St. North.
