Police to Host Open House on Sunday

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — This Sunday, residents will get a chance to get to know local law enforcement a little better.
The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department will be hosting an open house, where they can meet officers, become familiar with police equipment, and take a guided tour of the police department. Also included in the open house will be an officer dunk tank, Crime Stoppers booth, prescription drug take back, vehicle displays and more.
For the kids, there will be finger-painting, face-painting, a jail photo booth, and a radar board. The first 100 children will receive a free gift.
This event is set to take place outside city hall, 444 W. Grand Ave. from 11AM to 2PM. For more information, please call 715-423-4444.
