The Riverkings routed Team Beijing this past weekend with an 11-0 victory as part of the Boston Showcase.
Reed Kaiser put up a total of three goals, while Kurt LaPak added in two of his own. Goalie Joe Frantanonio held his own in net knocking away 10 shots on goal to a shutout.
It was a different story the next night, as the Riverkings fell to the Charlotte Rush 6-3.
Goals by James Stiles and Ryan Mantz contributed to the effort, as well as Kevin Bokkelen, who all slapped in goals for Wis. Rapids. However, the Riverkings were eventually outgunned in both periods in a tough loss to the Rush.
The Riverkings return home on Saturday, Nov. 26 when they face the River Falls Renegades. The Riverkings are now 16-3 on the year, and remain in first place in the Elite Midwest Division.
