Three men face multiple drug charges after a search warrant turned up findings of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Bradly Rosenthal, 33, of Wisconsin Rapids, and Jacob Johnson, 28, of Wisconsin Rapids are both charged with possession of amphetamines with intent to sell. 31-year-old Ilyas Ibragimov, of Edina, Minn., is charged with possession of THC with intent to sell.
According to police reports, on Aug. 2, in efforts with the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force, police executed a search warrant on at a residence on the 500 block of 8th Ave. North. The residence was said to belong to Johnson and his family.
Once inside, officers discovered .17 grams of marijuana, two glass meth pipes, a silver digital scale, a “one-hitter”, and multiple gem bags and broken pipes. During the search, a vehicle pulled onto the property, driven by a family member of Johnson’s. Police searched the vehicle to find a bag with a “Tinkerbell” logo on it containing 1.38 grams of a brown-tannish substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Another car pulled into the driveway during the search belonging to Rosenthal, with Johnson as the passenger. Inside the vehicle police located a backpack containing 12.14 grams of crystal meth. Also located were scales, pipes and a grinder containing a white substance. Also located inside was a mason jar with 2 grams of marijuana and 8.29 grams of more methamphetamine.
During the search a third vehicle with Minnesota license plates almost pulled into the property, but quickly turned away due to police presence. The plate numbers were taken down and police later located and pulled over the vehicle by High St. and 10th Ave. North.
A K-9 search was conducted that indicated positive for the presence of illegal substances inside the vehicle, later identified as belonging to Ibragimov. A backpack was located inside the vehicle containing 527 grams of marijuana, separated into multiple mason jars and Ziploc bags.
If convicted, Johnson faces up to 25 years imprisonment and up to $100,000 in fines for the possession of over 10 grams of methamphetamine with intent to sell. Rosenthal faces up to 10 years imprisonment and up to $25,000 in fines. Ibragimov faces up to six years imprisonment and up to $10,000 in fines.
Their pre-trial conference is scheduled for Sept. 30.
