Worried friend calls police
At 1:57 p.m. a 29-year-old male reported he was on a phone call with a friend and that the friend was having a very bad verbal argument with her boyfriend. The male was afraid the argument would turn physical. The woman, a 31-year old Wisconsin Rapids resident, also called police to report this incident.
Telephone harassment reported
At 4:19 p.m., a Wisconsin Rapids woman called police to report that a 40-year-old man is calling her and threatening her. The woman was advised to keep track of the phone calls made to her from this man and not to answer when he calls.
Unusual behavior in playland
At 4:42 p.m., a fast food employee called to report a woman who was in the play area at their location acting very unusual. The employee stated that the woman would go to her vehicle and then come back in acting more and more unusual. They also noticed a man digging through stuff in that same vehicle. The woman and vehicle were gone before an officer arrived.
Customer refuses to leave
At 2:15 a.m., an employee of an adult establishment in Wisconsin Rapids called to report that they were trying to close for the night, but there was a customer who refused to leave. The customer was throwing things around and causing a disturbance. The unruly customer left before police arrived.
At 2:35 a.m., a 31-year-old woman reported that her 33-year-old ex-fiancé stole her keys and was walking down Strawberry Lane with them. The police officer was able to locate the man and return the keys to the woman.
Driver not feeling well
At 4:08 p.m. police responded to a call regarding a woman who appeared to be passing out while driving out of control. When police caught up with the 48-year-old woman she stated she has been ill lately.
Looking for work in all the wrong places
At 2:57 p.m., a 62-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman stated that a woman came to her door looking for work. The woman claimed to be from North Carolina.
And don’t come back
At 6:15 p.m., a fast food employee on Grand Avenue called because for the second day in a row a 25-year-old male refused to leave the restaurant. The man was later found by the police officer and was advised not to go back to the fast food restaurant anymore.
