Memory Cafe – 10:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
Memory Cafes are designed for those experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss or cognitive impairment, as well as family and friends that are affected. They create opportunities for lively discussions, information gathering, refreshments, camaraderie and creative activities.
This event will be held at the McMillan Library located at 490 E. Grand Ave.

The Weight-Less Life – 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Hosted by the Wellness Barn, this two day workshop focuses on your lifestyle as a whole and how it affects your weight and overall health. A life plan will be created through this workshop, designed specifically for the individual. The program addresses lifestyle, career, social circles, money, relationships, confidence and spiritualism in addition to nutrition.

Wisconsin Rapids Polar Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics – 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
The Polar Plunge is the annual winter fundraiser for Special Olympics. Since 1999, plungers have raised nearly $18 million for Wisconsin athletes, giving them opportunities to participate in year-round sports, health and educational programming, and most importantly experience joy, pride and respect.

Fisheree at Sherwood Lake Lodge – 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The entire family is welcome for this free ice fishing weekend. No fishing licenses are required to take part. There will be karaoke and prizes later that night at 7:00 p.m.
