Abuse: At 12:14 PM, a Wisconsin Rapids woman called for a welfare check on another female. She reported that her husband was abusive and they had a domestic dispute the other night and hasn’t been able to get ahold of her since. No contact was made.
Phone Abuse: At 12:16 PM, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported receiving harassing text message from a client for whom he’d done work. A report was filed
Animal Complaint: An investigation is underway for a report of animal neglect in a duplex on the 2200 block of 11th St. West in Wisconsin Rapids. At 12:30 PM, a caller reported that 1-2 dogs and cats had been left alone for several days.
Runaway: A Wisconsin Rapids woman reported her daughter as a runaway at 12:32 PM, possibly in the company of another runaway juvenile male. The mother later reported her daughter was found at school.
Battery: At 1:25 PM, a 32-year-old female reported being beaten up by a 47-year-old male at her home on the 3300 block of 8th St. in Wisconsin Rapids. The man had left her home and was walking down 8th street wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt and blue sweatpants.
Urination: Staff at Our Lady Queen of Heaven school reported at 3:23 PM that vehicles were parked in a bus loading zone and males could be seen by students urinating in the woods near the school. Police responded and issued a warning.
Hearing Voices: A 48-year-old Wisconsin Rapids male contacted police at 4:37 PM to report he was hearing voices. The man will be contacting his case worker for further assistance.
