Alderman Seeks Input on Truck Routes

City Times Staff
Wisconsin Rapids Alderman Steven Koth, representing District 5, is looking for feedback from area residents on possibly restricting semi-truck traffic in the area.
Koth said he’s received “a number of complaints” about large trucks and semis driving through residential areas of the city. On his aldermanic Facebook page, Koth shared a photo of signage from Marshfield prohibiting semi traffic in certain areas of that city. He wonders if residents want something similar in the Wisconsin Rapids area.
“I am just curios if anyone else thinks this would be a good idea for Wisconsin Rapids,” Koth wrote on the page. “Let me know.”
Koth can be found on Facebook by searching “Wisconsin Rapids Fifth District Alderman”, by phone at (715) 697-3192 or via email at [email protected]
