For the City Times

Mid-State Technical College students can enjoy some free Wisconsin Rapids Rafters baseball games this summer, thanks to a “Mid-State Mondays” promotion, sponsored by Mid-State Student Life.

For each Rafters Monday home game this season, the first 100 Mid-State students with their Mid-State ID will receive a free Rafters ticket, hot dog, fountain soda, and All-Star Game hat.

Students must present a valid Mid-State ID to participate in this promotion. Mid-State student IDs are free and available at any of the following locations:

  • Adams County Center, main office
  • Marshfield Campus, Library (Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.)
  • Stevens Point Campus, Learning Commons (Monday–Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.; Fridays, 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., 2:00-4:30 p.m.)
  • Wisconsin Rapids Campus, Library (Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

Mid-State, one of 16 colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System, offers a variety of associate degrees, technical diplomas, and certificates, with campuses in Marshfield, Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids, and a learning center in Adams.

The college serves a resident population of approximately 165,000 in the MSTC District comprising all or portions of Adams, Clark, Jackson, Juneau, Marathon, Portage, Waushara, and Wood counties.  More than 9 in 10 MSTC graduates are employed within six months of graduation.
