Thursday’s Lunch by the River Promises to Delight

Lunch by the River is slated to kick off on Thursday.

The event, sponsored by South Wood County Humane Society and Wisconsin Rapids Job Center with Mid-State Technical College Career Services, runs every Thursday through the end of August from 11:30 AM through 1 PM at Veterans’ Memorial Park.

Residents and visitors alike are invite to enjoy a taste of Wisconsin Rapids with different food vendors and entertainment from various groups in the community.

Food vendors include Jamaican Kitchens, Great Expectations, Rocky Rococo, Hotel Mead, Klaus Treats and the Lincoln High School Booster Club.
