Cranberry Blossom Festival Begins Thursday

The 2015 Cranberry Blossom Festival kicks off on June 18.
The annual event begins with Lunch by the River at Veterans Memorial Park on 2nd St. at 11:30 AM, followed by a movie in Downtown Wisconsin Rapids with the annual “Classic Cinema Under the Stars” at 7:30.
Participants of both are advised to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
Other events include a 50/50 raffle, a Dairy and Berry Breakfast, and the annual Cranberry Blossom Carnival itself on June 19th and Witter Field. Tickets for the carnival are $1/25 or ten for $10, with wristband deals on Friday 4-9 PM and Saturday 11 AM- 3 PM.
The weekend will also see a parade, quilt show, garden party, art show and “Cruise-In” car show.
