The Rafters rallied for five runs in the eighth inning Sunday for a 8-7 win over the Green Bay Bullfrogs Sunday, setting a season record on the final game of the 2015 season.

Rapids took an early lead Sunday, scoring twice in the 1st inning. The Bullfrogs came out ahead with four runs in the third and a 7-3 lead at the top of the 8th before the Rafters 5-run streak for the win scoring five runs in six hits.

Austin Paisar (Sacramento City) earned the win by pitching a scoreless eighth inning, Chad Dullnig (Ranger) took the loss and Justin Kelly (UC Santa Barbara) earned his second save in the last two days.

Ernie Clement (Virginia) led the way for the Rafters, going 4-for-4 on the day, scoring three runs. Carpenter was 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI, while  Domingues was 2-for-3 and scored a pair of runs. Mitchell McGeein (Eastern Michigan) had a pair of sacrifice flies for two RBI.

The Rafters set a single season franchise record with a 33-35 overall record despite missing four games due to rain. Witter Field also saw record attendance this season, hitting a capacity crowd of 2,500 on Thursday, July 30.
