For the City Times

The South Wood County Humane Society is offering a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic for pet owners of the area.

The clinic runs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on September 19 at the South Wood County Recreation Center located at 2711 16th St. S. in Wisconsin Rapids.

Each pet owner will receive one free ticket to the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings’ hockey game later that evening.

Rabies vaccines are available for $20, distemper for $15 and microchips are also $15. All payments must be in cash. If you choose all three the charge is discounted to $40. Vaccines will be administered by a veterinarian from the All Care Animal Hospital.

The South Wood County Humane Society is located at 3621 64th St. N. in Wisconsin Rapids.
