Registration Open for Nekoosa Christmas Parade

Registration is now open for the 2015 Nekoosa Area Hometown Christmas Parade on December 5.
The parade, sponsored by the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, begins at 5:15 PM on Saturday, Dec. 5 in downtown Nekoosa. Registration is $10 prior to November 15 and $15 thereafter. Entries for the parade must be in by December 1.
Parade entries can be in the form of floats, vehicles, marching bands, walkers and animal units.
Parade entries line up no later than 4:45 at the corner of First St. and Patten Ave. in Nekoosa. The parade begins at Goodfellas and runs to Nekoosa library.
Christmas fireworks and a visit from Santa Claus will follow the parade at the Retirement Community of Nekoosa. Hot chocolate and cookies will also be available.
