Mid-State Technical College is offering its popular Destination Registration event in the fall for the first time this year.

Whether you are already interested in Mid-State or want to know how a college education can help you achieve your career goals, this event is designed for you to stop in, get what you need, and be on your way quickly. Destination Registration is beneficial to high school students, as well as people who are already in the workforce desiring additional training or seeking a new career.

The college will be enrolling students for Spring Semester with classes starting January 11, 2016 and accepting applications for the 2016 fall semester. All Mid-State application and Accuplacer testing fees are waived for anyone attending Destination Registration, saving participants up to $50. Snacks and refreshments are also provided.

Destination Registration will be held at Marshfield Campus on November 9, Wisconsin Rapids Campus on November 10, Adams County Center on November 11, and Stevens Point Campus on November 12. All four events are scheduled from 4:30-7:00 p.m., when a variety of experts will be on hand to answer questions about financial aid, scholarships, the application process, and registration for classes. Participants can also speak with a new student specialist about which of the many Mid-State associate degrees, technical diplomas, and certificates is right for them.

Accuplacer testing is offered at 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM at each location and Accuplacer review sessions begin 60 minutes prior to each testing session. Mid-State will also offer a voucher for free Accuplacer testing to anyone who arrives after 5:00 p.m. if they schedule an Accuplacer testing time before they leave.

Mid-State’s supportive environment, state-of-the-art technology, and faculty with professional experience in the fields they teach provide Mid-State graduates with real-world skills, knowledge, experience, and confidence they need for an in-demand career.

More than 90% of Mid-State graduates are employed within six months of graduation, and approximately 80% of Mid-State students receive some form of financial aid to help cover their educational expenses.

RSVP is required for this very popular event. Visit www.mstc.edu for more information about Destination Registration, to RSVP for the event, or to complete a Mid-State application. People wishing to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid at Destination Registration should plan to bring their 2014 tax returns.

The MSTC Marshfield Campus is located at 2600 West 5th Street, Wisconsin Rapids Campus at 500 32nd St. N, Adams County Center at 401 North Main St. and the Stevens Point Campus at 1001 Centerpoint Dr.
