Celia M. Polum, age 83, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Strawberry Lane Medical & Rehab, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Funeral Services are 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Rev. Valentine Joseph will officiate. Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI from 4:00-6:00 PM Monday and Tuesday at the Church form 10:00-11:00 AM. Entombment in Forest Hill Mausoleum.

Celia was born September 9, 1932 in Rudolph, WI to Frank and Mary (Langer) Hilgers. She graduated from Rudolph High School. Celia married Morris L. Polum on July 2, 1952 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He died September 15, 2001. Celia worked at Woolco credit department and service desk for seventeen years. She was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Church, where she counted the collection for many years. She also enjoyed gardening.

Celia is survived by two sons, Ronald (Diane) Polum of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and David (Alicia) Polum of Cedar Rapids, IA; daughter, Mary (Gary) Nulty of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; four grandchildren, Nicholas Polum of Cedar Rapids, IA, Christopher Polum of Cedar Rapids, IA, Michelle (Eric) Harrison of Friendship, WI and James Joyce of Lake Delton, WI; and two great grandchildren, Tristian Harrison of Friendship, WI and Abby Harrison of Friendship, WI. Celia is also survived by two sisters in law, Alice (Albert) Hilgers and Geraldine (Stephen) Hilgers.

Celia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Morris; two sisters, Helen (Norb) Paskon and Peggy (George) Joosten; four brothers, Martin (Mildred) Hilgers, George (Leta) Hilgers, Albert Hilgers and Steve Hilgers.
