A Wisconsin Rapids man faces more than three years behind bars after being charged with possession of narcotics.
Joshua Fischer, 22, was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car at Bud’s Corner Mart on the morning of Dec. 2nd, according to police reports.
A responding officer found a baggie which looked to have contained marijuana, a few pieces of foil on his lap and the distinct smell of marijuana coming from inside the car.
Upon further searching, the officer discovered a baggie containing white powder inside a pack of cigarettes. Pieces of foil containing heroin were also discovered.
Fischer pleaded not guilty in Wood Co. Circuit Court on Jan. 4. He returns to court Jan. 21 for his preliminary hearing.
