Police and Sheriff Calls Jan. 24

Bats!: At 4:29 AM there was a call made to dispatch in regards to three bats in the complainant’s apartment on the 100 block of 14th Ave S. It is since believed that the bats flew out of the house, and this spooky incident is closed.
Shoe Thief: At 11:21 PM a call was made by an employee from Shoe Sensation informing dispatch of stolen shoes. After an officer arrived it was determined that no theft could be found, and the incident has been closed.
Intruder Alert: At 9:00 PM a resident called police to inform them that a neighbor witnessed a man with a silver vehicle trying to get into their apartment on the 700 block of Witter St. No forced entry or damage was found, and police have since put extra patrol units in the area.
I Just Called to Say…: A call was received from a 55-year-old woman residing on the 1200 block of 19th Ave. S on multiple occasions in an effort to speak to her boyfriend. She would have to instead leave a message with dispatch which read “I love you — I am sorry about last night”
