Police & Sheriff Calls, Jan. 30

Suspicious Activity: At 2:41 p.m. a call was placed from an employee a American Table in complaint of a black vehicle parked in their lot, and two males going to and from the vehicle to buy drugs from a nearby house. The license plate number was taken down, but for the time being, this incident is closed.

Possible Break-in: At 6:56 p.m. a call was placed from the 2000 block of Sheri Ln. to dispatch to report a possible break-in. The resident came home to find her garage door open, and a table knocked down. An officer sent to the scene cleared the area, and the incident has been closed.

Facebook Fanatic: At 9:56 p.m. dispatch received a call from a concerned resident on the 400 block of Strodman Ave. regarding messages she was receiving from her ex on Facebook. The ex threatened to do harm to her and himself. The complainant met up with an officer and the incident has been closed.

Future Employees of the Month?:  At 9:59 p.m. a call was placed from an employee at Kwik Trip on the 2500 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding five teenagers hanging around the store, doing nothing but watching the employees. There is nothing else to report on this, and the incident has since been closed.
