Disturbance at the Maples: At 9:05 a.m. a call was placed to dispatch from the Maples Motel regarding a disturbance. An employee reported man hitting a woman in their room. A report was made, but the incident has been closed.
Learn how to drive!: At 3:43 p.m. a call was made from the 2800 block on Industrial St. in regards to a near accident. The complainant was almost hit by a male driver with a female passenger. The complainant believed that the two were smoking marijuana. The two weren’t seen again, and the incident has been closed.
Butter Knife Mischief: A call was made at 10:00 a.m. from Positive Alternatives on the 100 block of 24th St. South regarding a disturbance. A teenager tried to break into the office with a butter knife, while staff locked themselves in and called the police. The teen was arrested and the incident has been closed.
“I can feel it!”: At 6:00 a.m. a call was placed to dispatch from the 1200 block of 1st St. North regarding an angel who keeps contacting him. The resident was not sure if the angel was a male or female, or how the messages are being received. He believes the angel might be in Arizona and that he can “feel” the messages. Extra patrol in that area was requested for the night and the incident has been closed.
