Parents just don’t understand: At 7:14 a.m. a call was made from a resident on the 400 block of Pepper Ave. regarding her 9-year-old daughter, who was having a “meltdown”.  A report was made, but the incident has been closed.

Crazy Driver: At 11:50 a.m. a call was placed to dispatch from a concerned resident regarding a “crazy” driver. The vehicle in question was described as a white duramax with a dog in the passenger seat. The truck was driving “sideways” and swerving all over the bridge near 2nd Ave. and the expressway. The incident has been closed.

Prowler Alert: At 2:36 p.m. a call was placed from the 300 block of 10th St. N regarding a potential prowler. The complainant woke up from a nap, when her daughter went to get a snack and discovered two males in the house. A report was made, and there has been nothing further reported. This incident is closed.

Erratic Driving: At 9:05 p.m. a call was placed from a resident regarding an erratic driver on 16th St. South and Pepper Ave. The driver turned onto the expressway by Home Depot, went sideways, drove onto the median, and continued to drive sideways for some time. The driver’s taillight was also out. The incident has been closed.

Attempted Suicide: At 9:24 p.m. a call was placed from a resident on the 300 block of 8th St. South in regards to a teenager who had taken a bunch of pills. The teenager was described as “very depressed” and medics found her shaking, sweating and with an elevated heartbeat. The teenager would survive this scare and the incident has been closed.
