UPDATE: Nekoosa Bridge Cleared of Emergency Crew

Areas previously blocked off by Wood County emergency staff by Market St. and the Nekoosa Bridge due to an incident are now open.

As of 4:00 p.m. the bridge has been cleared, but there are no confirmed reports of the incident as of this time. Multiple calls were placed to Nekoosa Police but have yielded no further information. Messages left for the Wood County Sheriff’s Department we’re not immediately returned.
