A 33-year-old man is charged with possession of methamphetamine after police say it was found in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Roger Otto, of Warrens, is charged with repeated possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to police reports on Jan. 21, 2016 a traffic stop was conducted due to an anonymous tip that the suspect was traveling with a stolen four-wheeler.
After identifying the vehicle as belonging to Otto, deputies discovered a yellow container containing a crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine. Deputies also recovered a small black safe which contained baggies, and a glass pipe with burnt residue. The substance in the yellow container was later tested and confirmed to be methamphetamine.
If convicted, Otto faces up three years and six months imprisonment, and up to $10,000 in fines. A pre-trial conference has been scheduled for Mar. 11.
