Police & Sheriff Reports Feb. 9

People are strange: An anonymous call was placed to dispatch at 10:00 a.m. from the 1300 block of W. Grand Ave regarding two men acting “strangely” in their vehicle. The men were potentially doing drugs and the passenger kept on passing out. Police would eventually catch up to the two men and the incident has been closed.

Overdose: At 3:06 p.m. a call was made to dispatch regarding an overdose of an 18-year-old male. Officers went to the scene on the 1300 block of 29th Ave S. and assistance was rendered. The incident has been closed.

Preventative Measures: At 4:46 p.m. a call was made from a concerned resident in regards to her house on the 200 block of 8th St. South. The resident was in Wisconsin Dells at the time and believed somebody was in her house and wanted police to check on the residence. Police found no footprints, forced entry, or anyone in the residence. The incident has been closed.

Imminent Danger?: At 2:18 a.m. a call was made from a resident on the 300 block of 21st Ave. South when she was met with a man wearing no shoes, claiming that people are trying to shoot him from down the street. Officers were unable to make contact with any potential threats and the incident has been closed.
