UPDATE: Police Unable to Locate Bridge Jumper

Emergency crews continue their search for a man who reportedly jumped off the Nekoosa bridge on Feb. 9 into the Wisconsin River, which led to emergency staff and the temporary blockage of the bridge and surrounding areas.
As of 4:00 p.m. in a release by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, the man has not been located, and his identity remains unknown. Investigations are underway in attempts to identify the individual involved. Additional resources have been allocated from Wisconsin DNR for use in the continued search of the individual.
