Police & Sheriff Calls Feb. 10

Antenna Thief: At 9:07 a.m. a call was made by a resident on the 900 block of Gardner St. regarding a strange noise heard coming from around the house. The resident later discovered that someone stole an antenna from the house. A report was made, and the incident has been closed.

Move your van!: At 11:22 a.m. a call was made from the 2600 block of Lincoln St. regarding a van with a broken window and a flat tire that has been blocking the sidewalk for a week. Police contacted the owner and arrangements have been made to move the van. The incident is closed.

Stalker Alert: At 3:04 p.m. a call was made from a concerned resident on the 500 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding a possible stalker. The man feared he was being stalked around various businesses in the area. No evidence of a stalker was found and the incident has been regarded and closed.

Child Abuse: At 3:57 p.m. a call was made from the 900 block on 12th St. North regarding possible child abuse of a 4-month-old. A report has been made and the incident is closed. Check back for possible updates on this developing report.

Loose Change: At 7:52 p.m. a call was placed from the 700 block of Chase St. regarding a possible theft. The complainant said that a large jar of change was stolen that contained rent money. He believed it to be his ex-girlfriend who stole the change. A report was made and the incident has been closed.

Suspicious Change: At 10:00 a.m. a call was placed from a business on the 1600 block of Lincoln St. regarding a young woman who brought in a suspiciously large amount of change. A report has been made and the incident has been closed.
