For the City Times Staff

There is an open call for artists to submit for “Local Vision 2016”, our mixed media, open class Central Wisconsin artist exhibit opening Friday, March 11.

This years theme is “Hidden and Revealed”. Ribbons for Best of Show and Honorable Mention will again be decided by public vote. Everyone is encouraged to submit works in any media- painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography, recorded performances in music, vocal or dance, fibers, ceramics, glass or any other media.

There are no jury fees for Local Vision and all submissions must be in for group jury review by Thursday, March 3 at 5:00. Work may be submitted now if prior arrangements are made.

All submissions may be the actual pieces or photos/digital images of the work in total, ready to hang or display (no submissions accepted without showing the painting or photo framed and/or ready for hanging, for example).

Please call the Center with any questions at 715-421-4598.

The Central Wisconsin Cultural Center is located at 240 Johnson St. in Wisconsin Rapids.
