Primary Elections to Take Place Tuesday

The first election of 2016 is Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016. The polls are open from 7 a.m. To 8 p.m. On the ballots will be the primaries between mayoral candidates and the Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates.
The mayoral race candidates for Wisconsin Rapids are incumbent Zach Vruwink, and challengers Robert Nash and Christopher Marceau. The Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates are Rebecca Bradley, Joe McDonald, and JoAnne Kloppenburg. In both contests, the top two vote-getters will advance to April in the general elections.
The polling places are as follows:
– Wards 1-5 Mead School
– Wards 6-15, 24 Howe School
– Wards 16-23, 25 Grove School
