Not the “Batttery” you’re thinking of: Ar 9:13 a.m. a call was made from a disgruntled customer from a business on the 3000 block of 8th St. South regarding a battery that she was sold. She was apparently talked into buying a battery, even though hers was fine. She demanded her money back, but to no avail. This is a civil matter and the incident has been closed.

Unwanted Texts: At 3:15 p.m. a call was made from a resident on the 2800 block of Washington St. regarding unwanted text messages from family members. These messages were sent from a dispute over frozen pipes in their trailer. Both parties were warned, and the incident has been closed.

Drunk in Public: At 6:30 p.m. a call was made from the 4000 block on 8th St. South regarding what seemed to be an intoxicated person wandering the parking lot. The man made his way out of the parking lot and officers eventually caught up with him. The incident has been closed.

Annoying Dog: At 8:37 p.m. a call was placed from the 2000 block of Sheri Ct. regarding a dog that wouldn’t stop barking, and had been barking for several hours. The incident has been closed.
