Vruwink, Nash advance to April Elections

Zach Vruwink and Robert Nash will advance to the general elections for Wisconsin Rapids mayor on Apr. 5, 2016 after receiving the top two most votes in Tuesday night’s primary.
Vruwink received 1109 votes as the leading vote-getter in all precincts, while Robert Nash pulled in 804 votes. Christopher Marceau received 250 votes. The votes were finally tallied and completed at 10:48 p.m.
Zach Vruwink is seeking his third consecutive term as Wisconsin Rapids mayor, while Robert Nash, a former Wisconsin Rapids alderperson and longtime member of the community, is seeking his first seat as mayor.
