For the City Times

ZAXX Technology Specialists has announced a promotion in January running through February to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area.

For each computer or tablet purchased now through February, ZAXX will donate $10 to the Club. A $10 donation would provide one of the following: 1) a one-year membership for a child; 2) one hour of tutoring for a child; or 3) three healthy after-school snacks. The local Boys & Girls Club serves over 2,500 students annually in Wisconsin Rapids, Nekoosa, and Port Edwards with before- and after-school programs.

Zach Vruwink, owner of ZAXX, is a long-standing board member of the Boys & Girls Club and is excited to offer this donation opportunity to its customers. “Every donation makes a difference in the lives of the families whose children use the facility,” said Vruwink.

Anyone interested in participating in the promotion may stop in at ZAXX at 240 West Grand Avenue in downtown Wisconsin Rapids, or call 715-424-5153.

For information regarding this release, please contact Sally Kissner at 715-424-5153.
