“Love, Loss and What I Wore” — Wisconsin Rapids Community Theater play
Feb. 18-19 @7:30pm Feb. 21 @2:00pm

Story: A play of monologues and ensemble pieces about women, clothes and memory covering all the important subjects?mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses and why we only wear black. Based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman.
Admission is $15 per ticket. For more information please call 715-421-0435. The WRCT is located at 220 3rd Ave. South in Wisconsin Rapids.
 Ruby’s Mobile Pantry – Feb 20 – 8.am.
A mobile food distribution on the 3rd Saturday of each month beginning Saturday, May 16th from 9 a.m. to noon with registration beginning at 8 a.m. Food Distribution is available for anyone regardless of financial income of place of residence. Please bring containers (boxes, laundry baskets, etc) to put your items in. A donation of $20 from each family is asked to cover the cost of transportation. You will receive various amounts of food each month. These goods are donated directly from manufacturers: canned goods, meat, produce, cereal, bread, pizza, yogurt, etc.

Camelot’s Fishery — Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

To register call 715-325-5093 or Mike at 920-382-3155, or stop in the bar. Registration and return hole on Lake Camelot in front Lodge. $10.00 entry for game fish, $5 for 12 and under pan fish with 100% payout.

This event is located at 298 Leisure Lane in Nekoosa.

WR Aqua Skiers Show Team-Land Practice — Sunday, Feb. 21 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

The Wisconsin Rapids Aqua Skiers will be having their 2nd land practice of the season on Sunday February 21st at St. Luke’s Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Practice will be from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. New members are always welcome! You do not need to know how to water ski to join, we can teach you! Even if you are unsure if you will join come out and see what we are all about. Currently the team is the 3rd largest water ski show team in the state of Wisconsin! Our membership secretary will be present to answer any questions you have about joining our water ski family.

This event will be held at St. Lukes Church, which is located at 2011 10th St S. in Wisconsin Rapids.

 

Crafty Kids Workshop – Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A workshop is being held at the Rapids Mall in Wisconsin Rapids involving parents making crafts and keepsakes with their kids.

Crafty Kids will have eight to 10 different crafts to choose from. Admission is $5 per child; children aged one and under are free. Discounts will play if parents bring their own craft items in, or for families with four or more children. This workshop is located at 220 W. Grand Ave. inside the Rapids Mall.
