Wisconsin Rapids Woman Charged with Burglary, Possession of Meth

A 24-year-old woman is charged with burglary after police say she stole a large roll of copper from a business.
Tiffany Carolfi, of Wisconsin Rapids, is charged with burglary and possession of methamphetamine. According to police reports, on Aug. 13, 2015, a deputy was dispatched to business located on the 10000 block of Washington Ave. in Marshfield regarding a possible burglary. The owner of the business told police that a 50 foot roll of heavy gauge copper was stolen, as well as other items.
Trail cameras placed outside of the business caught photos of Carolfi outside the business at approximately 1:25 a.m. on Aug, 13. Investigators made contact with Carolfi, who admitted that she had been involved in the burglary and pawned the copper so that she could have money for her children.
Carolfi also has prior cases pending for charges of methamphetamine possession dating back from October.
If convicted, Carolfi faces up to 12 years imprisonment and to to $25,000 in fines. Her 12-person jury trial has yet to be scheduled.
