Police & Sheriff Calls for Feb. 20

Living in the Fast Lane: At 12:39 p.m a call was made by the 1500 block of 24th St. South regarding a driver who was leaning out of the car window while speeding down the expressway. A report was made and the incident has been closed.
Half a Conscience: At 2:10 p.m a call was made to dispatch from the 1700 block of Baker St. in regards to a patron who stole a pack of cigarettes. However, this patron returned half the pack when she thought she was being watched. The incident has been closed.
Tired of Criminal Damage: At 2:59 p.m. a call was made from the 1000 block of W. Grand Ave regarding alleged criminal damage after the complainant found that her flat tire was actually a sliced tire. A report was made and the incident is closed.
Missing Child: At 3:35 p.m. a call was made from the 1600 block of 23rd Ave. South regarding a missing 8-year-old who was supposed to be at a friend’s house. The child was located and the incident is closed.
Rob Against the Machine: At 3:49 p.m. a call was made from the 1100 block of W. Grand in regards to a man and a woman suspected of trying to rob a change machine. They allegedly were not successful and the incident has been closed.
