Police & Sheriff Reports for Feb. 22

Don’t be Tardy: At 7:24 a.m. a call was made to dispatch from the 400 block of 12th St. North regarding his two kids. He wanted to make sure his 7-year-old and 9-year-old went to school in fear that a family member did not return the kids with their school supplies. Contact was made with the family member and kids made it to school safely.

Harm to Self: At 12:17 p.m. a call was made from the 4600 block of 8th St. South regarding a woman doing harm to herself. The woman is now safe and a report was made the incident is closed.

Possessed Van: At 4:35 p.m. a call was made from the 3100 block of 8th St. South regarding a tan van that was running in the lot and making strange noises. The complainant feared the van was going to pop into gear and hurt someone. The incident has been closed.

False Witness: At 6:40 p.m. a call was made from a concerned resident on the 900 block of Baker St. regarding underage kids drinking and using cocaine in the house next door. Police made contact with the kids and house owners and found no evidence of drinking or drug use. The incident has been closed.
