Body Recovered from Wisconsin River Identified

City Times Staff

In a press release by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department the identity of the individual who reportedly jumped off the Nekoosa bridge has been released.

The body of the individual who jumped into the Wisconsin River on Feb. 9, is identified as 42-year-old Wylie A. Rose, of Nekoosa.

Authorities and emergency staff discovered the body on Feb. 23, after a two week search in the Wisconsin River by the Nekoosa bridge.
