Police & Sheriff Calls for Feb. 24
Stop Following Me: At 10:30 a.m. a call was placed to dispatch by a resident on the 400 block of W. Grand Ave in regards to his girlfriend, who allegedly kept following him. Officers looked into the matter and the incident is closed.
Problem Child: At 11:48 a.m. a call was placed to dispatch from the 1200 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding a 7-year-old threatening a family member with a knife. The situation was calmed, and the incident is closed.
Fight Club: A call was placed to dispatch from a business on the 500 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding a man and a woman in a physical altercation. Officers arrived to find only a verbal fight, and the situation has been settled. The incident has been closed.
Rumble on Clyde Ave.: At 1:55 a.m. a call was placed from the 700 block of Clyde Ave. regarding a disturbance in the area. A fight broke out in the street and involved nine to 10 people. Officers broke up the fight and observed two males running through the backyard. Multiple persons involved were eventually found and contacted by police. The incident has been closed.
