Police & Sheriff Calls for Feb. 26
Lost & Found: At 9:30 a.m. a call was made from the 170 block of Round Oak Ct. regarding drug paraphernalia found under his home. Assistance was rendered in how to dispose of the materials and the incident is closed.
What’s that Smell?: At 5:18 p.m. a call was placed from the 1400 block of 21st Ave. South regarding the smell of controlled substances coming from a nearby apartment. An officer was dispatched, but found no evidence of drug use. The incident is closed.
Drunk and Disorderly: At 4:30 a.m. a call was placed from the 600 block of Lee St. regarding a family member who was reportedly intoxicated. This person broke a computer in the home and was harassing other family members. Officers were dispatched to the scene to get everything under control. The incident is closed.
Hopefully Not True: At 7:46 a.m. a call was made from a concerned resident on the 200 block of Plover St. regarding a male who kicked a puppy and dragged it by the leash. Officers were unable to make contact with this person and no evidence was found of alleged animal cruelty. The incident has been closed.
