Coughing Fit: At 12:26 p.m. a call was made from the 1700 block of Chestnut St. regarding a call received by an unknown man who was coughing and choking on the other line. This turned out not to be a prank, and police checked up on the man who called. Everything is okay and the incident is closed.
Crossing a Line: At 3:45 p.m. a call was made from the corner of 8th St. South and Baker St. regarding a heated argument the caller witnessed between the crossing guard and another resident. The incident is closed.
Disgruntled Employee: At 5:36 p.m. a call was made from the 500 block of Elm St. regarding damage done by an employee to a company vehicle. Reports state that the windshield was smashed. The situation was calmed and the incident is closed.
Hit and Run: At 12:55 a.m. a call was placed from the 1400 block of 21st Ave. South regarding a disturbance where a woman was hit in the eye by a man, as well as having her window cracked. The complainant refused an ambulance, and the alleged culprit left the scene before police could arrive. The incident is closed.
