John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band Playing at McMillan Library

Guitarist John Jorgenson and his bluegrass band is coming to the McMillan Library for a concert this Friday, Mar. 11 at 7:00 p.m. as a part of ARTi Gras, taking place from Mar. 10 through Mar. 19.

The John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band features four musicians:  John Jorgenson on guitar, mandolin and vocals; Herb Pedersen on banjo, guitar and vocals; Jon Randall on guitar and vocals; and Mark Fain on bass.

In 2008, Jorgenson won a Grammy for Best Country Instrumental, and has played with the likes of Brad Paisley, Bonnie Raitt, Elton John, Luciano Pavarotti, Bob Dylan, and many more.

This concert is free, made possible by the Mead Witter Foundation, but seating is limited. For more information please call 715-422-5136.

The McMillan Library is located at 490 E. Grand Ave. in Wisconsin Rapids.
