Police & Sheriff Calls for Mar. 9

Stalking: A call was placed to dispatch from the corner of 28th St. and Washington St. from a complainant regarding a man who had been stalking her. He reportedly had her items with him in a van and threatened to throw them out of the vehicle. The caller was advised to head to the police station to discuss the incident further.
Rent Thief: At 7:18 p.m. a call was placed from the 1400 block of 22nd Ave. South regarding a theft. The complainant stated that a rent check was taken right out of the mailbox. The owner has video of the incident and a report was made.
Lost?: At 11:20 p.m. a call was placed from a concerned resident regarding a vehicle driving very slowly around the streets of 17th, 18th, and 19th Ave. South. A report has been filed.
Battery: A call was made from the 3600 block of State Highway 54 W. in Port Edwards regarding a physical altercation. A man and a woman threw the complainant to the ground and drove off. The complainant refused medical attention and a report has been filed.
