Police & Sheriff Calls for Mar. 10

Curtain Thief: A call was placed from a residence on the 100 block of 12th Ave. South regarding a complaint of vulgar language used by a neighbor. The complainant also stated that this person took a curtain from the shared bathroom in the building. Subjects were told to contact their landlord over any further issues.

Sick of Cable?: At 1:15 p.m. a cal was made from a business on the 3200 block of 8th St. South regarding a man ranting about his cable service. According to the complainant, he was making “no sense”. Upon arrival, officers could not find his vehicle.

Drug Rendezvous: At 5:56 p.m. a call was made from a concerned resident on the corner of Goodnow Ave. and Sampson St. regarding a possible drug deal. The caller told dispatch that he sees vehicles drive into the lot frequently, and looks to be exchanging items. Extra patrol was requested in the area.

Duplex Disturbia: At 1:45 a.m. a call was made from the 1200 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding a disturbance. The caller told dispatch that a man was acting very strange; yelling and screaming in his duplex all by himself. Officers made contact with the man, though he would only speak to them through the door. He was told to keep down the noise.
