Police & Sheriff Calls for Mar. 12
Wrong House: At 10:55 a.m. a call was made from the 1900 block of 5th St. South regarding a disturbance. The complainant reported that a woman was pounding on her door, demanding property that is her. The complainant has no idea who the woman is or what she wants, and refused to leave. After finding out that the woman was looking for a dog, it was concluded that there was no dog on the property.
Threatened: At 4:49 p.m. a call was made from the intersection of 10th Ave. South and Rosecrans St. regarding threats made to her son. he complainant stated that a group of kids were threatening to kill her son. A report has been filed.
What’s that smell?: At 6:25 p.m. an anonymous call was placed from the 1400 block of 29th Ave. South regarding the smell of marijuana and complaints of smoking from a nearby residence. Officers arrived but found nothing, nor any smell of the drug.
Possible Burglary: At 9:10 p.m. a call was made from the 2900 block of Sampson St. regarding a potential burglary. The complainant stated that two people tried to break into his residence. The two people had left by the time the call was made, and officers caught up with the two subjects. A report has been made.
